The WIBARAB team will be participating in the following conferences:
- Symposium on the ‘Tribe’ in the WANA Region, 3rd & 4th of October 2024: An interdisciplinary symposium, led by our colleague Laura Stocker, will be held at the University of Vienna, during which scholars from different disciplines, such as history, (socio-)linguistics, and social anthropology, will critically examine the concept of ‘tribe’ and its various interpretations in different academic fields.

Stanley’s graduation: Another member of the WIBARAB team has successfully completed his studies with his thesis on the Arabic dialect of the Rashayda in Sudan. The team would like to congratulate Stanley on his graduation and wish him all the best for the future!
